First and most important, you must feel supported and understood. We
then set goals together and proceed with counseling or therapy.
Some people need straight forward advice and skill building; others need
a sensitive and slow exploration of issues. Together we work towards
change or acceptance, depending on the issues.
Emphasis is frequently on building self-confidence and insight. My work
